Nicki Minaj Brought Gospel Singer Tasha Cobbs Leonard On Queen Radio And Took Her Fans To Church

Nicki Minaj took her fans to church today on Queen Radio by having one of her favorite gospel singers, Tasha Cobbs Leonard on the show.

Those tuning in might have been surprised to hear some gospel in the mix, but the gospel jams from Tasha Cobbs were no mistake.

Nicki brought on the gospel singer to pray over her fans and it seems fans were on Twitter loving the word they received on Queen Radio.

Nicki is featured on one of Tasha’s songs, “I’m Getting Ready.” She also played Tasha’s “For Your Glory.”

Nicki said she wanted to play gospel to set the tone for the show. When Tasha finally came on to speak with Nicki, you can tell she was still a bit starstruck even though the two have been friends for some time.

“Did it surprise you when you found out I was a huge fan of yours?” Nicki asked.

Tasha, who says she has been a fan of Nicki forever, jokingly said she thought Nicki was hacked when she saw her leaving comments under her posts on Instagram.

“I already knew you had a relationship with God,” Tasha told Nicki. “…I felt like we had a connection immediately.

Nicki then asked Tasha to pray over her Queen Radio listeners.

“I’m not ashamed to praise God,” Nicki said.

Then Tasha went ahead and took the listeners to church.

“So we ask now for every person who may be listening that they run to you,” Tasha prayed. “…I ask now that you reveal yourself in a way that they feel comfortable running to you sharing their heart and God show them compassion and love in a way that they will have never seen or understood and I will forever give you praise in Jesus name. Amen!.”
