Rappers Nicki Minaj and Sexyy Red have been chosen as the most poppin’ female spitters in the game right now.
Billboard shared its list of the ’10 Hottest Female Rappers Right Now,’ and social media is weighing in on the selections.
Several women have been making waves and ranking high on the Billboard Hot 100 charts for the past couple of years.
Bronx rapper Ice Spice knabbed the No. 5 spot. Her hit ‘Think U the S*** (Fart)’ debuted at No. 37 on the Hot 100 charts. It is her highest-ranking single with no features.
Furthermore, slot No. 4 on the list went to Doja Cat. Her 2023 album ‘Scarlet’ was well received. Doja’s banger ‘Paint The Town Red’ soared to tip top of the charts in 2023.
Additionally, the No. 3 position went to Megan Thee Stallion. She earned herself a chart-topping single early in the year after releasing ‘Hiss.’ The Texas girl is currently on her ‘Hot Girl Summer’ tour with rapper GloRilla, who landed at No. 6 on Billboard’s list.
Meanwhile, coming in at No. 2 is Sexyy Red. The 26-year-old first gained notoriety with her hit ‘Pound Town.’ She followed up with hits ‘SkeeYee’ and ‘Get It Sexxy’, which made the Hot 100 list.
As mentioned, Nicki Minaj, the self-proclaimed ‘Queen of Rap,’ leads the list at No. 1. Minaj is currently jet-setting across Europe on her ‘Pink Friday 2 World Tour.’
For context, Nicki has been in the rap game for 15 years. She made her debut with her album, ‘Beam Me Up Scotty,’ and has consistently blessed the Barbz with hit after hit!
