A little over a month since his death on New Year’s Day, the cause of death for Bobbi Kristina’s former boyfriend Nick Gordon has been revealed. According to new reports, he died of a drug overdose due to heroin.
@TMZ_TV reports, the official toxicology report and autopsy of Nick Gordon has been revealed—and the cause is due to a heroin overdose. The report states that Nick was found unresponsive and in a state of cardiac arrest when he was transported to the hospital.
Once he arrived, he was hospitalized for about seven hours before he ultimately died. The reports also note that Nick had Narcan in his system –which is a drug used to counteract the effects of an overdose. During the initial reports of his death, Nick was described as having black fluid foaming from his mouth before someone placed a 911 call to report that he wasn’t breathing.
At the time, a man who claimed to be Nick’s brother said he died of an apparent overdose. Those claims have now proven to be true because the black discharge is usually related to the foam that comes out of the mouth and nostrils after an opioid overdose.
As you’ll recall, Nick was present for both Whitney Houston’s and her daughter Bobbi Kristina’s deaths—and was found legally liable for Bobbi Kristina’s death and investigated by authorities, but was never charged in connection to her overdose.
Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?
