#Roommates, although his presidential campaign likely won’t make it to a November conclusion, Kanye West appears to have another supporter in his quest for the White House—none other than Nick Cannon. When recently asked if he planned to vote for ‘Ye as the next POTUS, Nick responded with a “yes” and also explained why #Kanye2020 might be the move.
As reported by @TMZ_TV, Nick Cannon was recently spotted walking through LAX airport when he was asked his feelings about Kanye West’s current presidential run. When pressed by the paparazzi to answer if he would be voting for ‘Ye in November, Nick said he would—but his endorsement didn’t stop there.
Once the paparazzi pointed out the multiple hurdles that Kanye’s campaign is currently facing, specifically various missed deadlines and potentially stealing votes away from presidential hopeful Joe Biden, Nick had an interesting response. He stated that “we need another black man in the White House.” The photographer then told Nick that there is no way that Kanye can win the election at this point—and Nick simply said, “stranger things have happened in 2020.”
Elsewhere, Nick was also asked about cancel culture, in reference to his very public falling out and termination of his relationship with ViacomCBS last month. He said there shouldn’t even be cancel culture, it should be “counsel culture” instead.
As we previously reported, ViacomCBS officially terminated its relationship with Nick Cannon following his controversial comments about white people and the Jewish community. ViacomCBS is also the company that’s responsible for Nick’s highly successful show “Wild N Out.”
