Nick Cannon recently sat down as a guest on Van Lathan’s Red Pill Podcast and revealed that his rap battle skills are better than a few of your faves… like Drake, Lil Wayne and Will Smith.
He started by saying he would 100 percent win a battle with Will Smith. “I am a better rapper than Will Smith,” Nick said on the show. “And Will Smith is pretty damn good.” He added that he would happily battle the “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It” rapper on any forum he chooses.

Nick went on to say that he’s so good at freestyling that he doesn’t even do it any more. “I’m better than 90% of the rappers out there,” he shared. “I freestyle so well that I don’t even do it no more.”
“Like if you watch ‘Wild’n Out, everybody else is preparing and writing bars. Like I’ve been doing his sh*t,” he said. “I would call Lil Wayne one of the greatest, Drake one of the greatest, Andre 3000, but it’s like, you put those cats in a battle form going back and forth and they not gonna be able to do it.”
When Van Lathan asked if he thinks he can battle all those guys,” Nick simply said, “Absolutely.”
