Everyone was shocked when TMZ announced that Amber Rose filed for divorce from Wiz Khalifa on Monday (Sept. 22). Apparently, the divorce documents sited irreconcilable differences which is what all famous people put down to cover up the real issue. Amber Rose is asking for full custody of their 1-year old son Sebastian with visitation rights for Wiz Khalifa. In case you are wondering, the couple did have a prenup in place and spousal support for Amber Rose was included so she’s good.
You know after this news broke we had to do some digging of our own. We were completely blindsided by this, but then again…we missed a couple of tweets and clues along the way. After scraping up the TEA from every corner we could find, we have come up with a theory as to what happened between the seemingly happy couple. Remember when we said Amber Rose and Wiz made an odd couple two months ago?

Now the block is saying that Amber Rose left Wiz Khalifa because he was unfaithful during their marriage. This wouldn’t be shocking since Wiz was touring! Some even say Amber Rose was cheating too…with her new manager Nick Cannon. Amber was hired as an actress in a movie that Nick Cannon wrote about his life, then she appeared on his show Wild n Out, and recently he became her manager which made everybody suspect they were getting too close for comfort. Nick Cannon & Mariah recently split so it wasn’t far fetched.
So we decided to dig up her old interview in July with Wendy Williams where she talks about how sweet Nick Cannon is:
He is one of the sweetest people on earth. Being around him, I really see why Mariah loves him so much.”

Then, people were saying that Nick & Amber seemed a little too close at the Power 106 Charity Basketball Game less than a week ago.

Well, Nick Cannon’s people responded to TMZ and said that he is not the cause of Amber & Wiz Khalifa’s divorce. He said that he only heard about the divorce through her lawyers last week. After he found out he reached out to her and they shared their break-up stories with each other.
After all of this digging, it sure does seem like something is going on between Nick Cannon & Amber but of course we can’t confirm it. Infidelity does seem to be the cause of the split, Ambers tweet from yesterday kind of falls in line with that theory. If Nick says he found out about the divorce last week, then the marriage had to be in shambles at the time that Amber posted her tribute to Wiz on IG. This just goes to show, everything that glitters isn’t gold!
