Deadline is reporting that actress Nia Long just landed a recurring role on Fox’s hit show Empire. Apparently, she will be playing a gangster club owner who hashes it out with Cookie Lyon!
“Long will play Giuliana (Giusi), a queenpin who runs a club in Las Vegas and makes brash moves in the gangster underworld of New York to secure a deal with Empire. Sleek, sexy, and cold-blooded, she rubs elbows with Lucious (Terrence Howard) and goes toe-to-toe with Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) even as she reckons with her own mysterious past.”
Season 3 has already proven to be everything seeing as Rumer Willis, Mariah Carey, Taye Diggs, Birdman and French Montana have signed on as well. We wonder who else will be signing into the show next season. Roommates, who else would y’all like to see on Empire every Wednesday night? I vote Morris Chestnut!
