New York Knicks Owner James Dolan Reportedly Tests Positive For Coronavirus

According to Bleacher Report, New York Knicks owner, James Dolan, is the latest NBA associate to test positive for Coronavirus.

According to a tweet from the NY Knicks PR account, it stated that the 64-year-old was self-isolating and will continue business as usual.

“The Madison Square Garden Company Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jim Dolan has tested positive for coronavirus. He has been in self-isolation and is experiencing little to no symptoms. He continues to oversee business operations.”

Since the diagnosis, Dolan Family Foundation has agreed to donate $1 million to Madison Square Garden’s event staff who are unable to work, due to the disruption of the viral pandemic.

At least 10 players have been infected with COVID-19, including Kevin Durant.

As of now, the United States is now the epicenter of this viral pandemic, surpassing China and Italy. According to Live Science, since the  first case was detected in the U.S., it has spread to nearly 105,000 people in the U.S., across all 50 states. Subsequently, schools and universities have shut down and many states have ordered citizens to not leave the house, unless for a doctor’s appointment or the grocery store.
