Whew, chile! Kenya Moore’s suspension from ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ surprised some, but not NeNe Leakes.
In an exclusive interview with E! News, NeNe Leakes shared her thoughts on Kenya Moore’s departure, discussing the aftermath of her alleged explicit photo scandal.
The ‘RHOA’ alum stated that she wasn’t surprised to hear the news.
“I don’t know if I was surprised. I know that, over the years, Kenya has always pushed the envelope a little bit. Listen those girls do a lot of things. I don’t think I’m surprised at all,” Nene said.
Despite leaving ‘RHOA’ herself and having past issues with Kenya, Nene told the outlet that they have been on good terms for some time now.
“We’re not talking every day, but when we see each other, there’s no beef. There’s no hard feelings. Actually we laugh about it,” she explained.
Leakes was an OG cast member on the Bravo show when it premiered in 2008. However, she later decided to leave to focus on other ventures ahead of the 13th season.
While speaking with E! News, Nene also commented on whether Phaedra Parks should return to ‘RHOA.’
Phaedra Parks’ fans are aware that she joined the cast of ‘Married to Medicine’ and made an appearance in season 10 of the reality show.
“Housewives is where the viewers know her from and, to me, if she was going to be on any platform it should be on the Housewives platform, not ‘Married to Medicine.’ I think Phaedra would be a good addition again,” Nene stated.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Bravo enforced a suspension on Kenya Moore from filming season 16 of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta.’
Per TSR, Moore was suspended following images allegedly displayed durning the grand opening of Kenya Moore Hair Salon.
During the event on June 6, Kenya reportedly displayed posters featuring inappropriate images of newcomer Brittany Eady involved in a sexual act.
On June 8, Kenya responded to the allegations on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“I would never engage in revenge porn, I have never distributed private images or footage of anyone, nor solicited images owned by others to use to threaten or blackmail. I have always been vindicated. I can’t talk about STORY even with people planting fake news.”
In late June, Moore further discussed the claims, sharing a heartfelt message with her fans.
“Thank you for all the support #teamtwirl. My heart is full and my conscience is clear. So many false claims hiding behind anonymous sources. All this conversation and no facts being reported. If a claim or source was valid, would they need to hide? My life is blessed. My daughter and I will continue to thrive in a non toxic environment where we feel appreciated and most importantly, protected.Thank you God for covering us. 🙏🏾 ***The rumors and narrative about me randomly showing nudes or revenge p is 1000% untrue. I have proof and will share soon.”
