Nelly & Ludacris Take Fans Down Memory Lane As They Face Off In A ‘Verzuz’ Battle

Another page has been added to the book when it comes to the “Verzuz” battles, which are presented by Timbaland and Swizz Beatz. On Saturday, Nelly and Ludacris faced off in a highly anticipated battle. Their battle came with a few technical difficulties at the beginning, but they made it through to put on an amazing battle for their fans.

If you all can remember, the legendary Teddy Riley and Babyface had to reschedule their battle due to some technical difficulties on Teddy’s end. So many fans had a flashback moment Saturday night as Nelly’s WiFi service delayed the start of the battle. There was reportedly a bad storm in his area, which caused his connection to go in and out during the battle.

So of course, you know Black Twitter had to come through with the laughs in response to Nelly’s WiFi issues.

Nonetheless, they were able to successfully work through the technical issues and proceeded with the battle.

During the battle, Nelly and Ludacris dropped hit after hit, including Nelly’s “Dilemma,” ‘Hot In Here,” My Place,” “Air Force Ones,” and many others. Luda dropped some of his classic hits, such as “Stand Up,” “Move B*tch,” “What’s Your Fantasy.” and many others.

Now for many years, many of us have known Ludacris and Nelly to have never released a joint record together. However, during the battle, Ludacris revealed that he and Nelly actually collaborated for his single “Money Maker,” however that version was never released. Nonetheless, he played the record for the public for the first time.

In the end, Nelly and Luda gave fans yet another memorable battle.
