Hitmaker Ne-Yo is suing his former manager for fraud and is blaming Citibank for allowing shady transactions to take place causing him to lose millions of dollars!
Ne-Yo was sued by Citibank for about $1.4 million dollars for a loan that he claims he never signed. Well, now the tables have turned as Ne-Yo blames the bank for never telling him when his ex-manager, Kevin Foster, was transferring thousands of dollars at a time from his account. He feels that the bank turned a blind eye to the fraud, according to Page Six. Nothing happened when the bank accounts were overdrawn and no one was notified about the huge amounts being withdrawn regularly not by Ne-Yo.
The manager reportedly drained 2.4 million dollars from Ne-Yo’s account and according to Ne-Yo, still owes him about $8 Million.
Though the case is still pending, Ne-Yo’s lawyer says that Citibank will be responsible for the losses. We hope that the dispute is settled and Ne-Yo gets as much of his money back as possible.
