It looks like Ne-Yo may be in need of congratulations! Fans seem to think his recent online activity and that of influencer Sade are indicators that the pair welcomed a second child together.
Over the weekend, she shared photos of her newborn son named Brixton. Ne-Yo left a ‘like’ on the set of photos–and the ‘second baby’ talks picked up steam. However, neither of them has explicitly confirmed the news.
As previously reported, the singer and Sade welcomed a son together while Ne-Yo was still married to Crystal Renay–a betrayal the ex-wife exposed in July amid her divorce petition.
Ne-Yo and Sade confirmed their parenting situation when he shared photos of him with their son in January. The influencer later reposted one of the photos to her Instagram Story. At the time, he wrote, “thank you God for my beautiful children and the people that help me raise them.”
By early February, fans speculated that Sade and Ne-Yo were expecting again. They pieced together his ‘like’ on Sade’s maternity shoot with her caption as indicators of a growing family.
In her caption, Sade wrote:
“Coming to terms with the delicate circumstances , when I felt like I just couldn’t take on another load, especially at the expense of another person’s happiness…sometimes even my own…wasn’t the easiest decision. However, I have to choose me. Therefore, I have to choose you.”
Her post came days after news spread about Crystal and Ne-Yo finalizing their divorce. In the end, the singer was tasked with paying Renay a lump sum of $1.6 million, the deed to one of their Georgia homes, and $20,000 in moving expenses. Over the next three years, Crystal will also get $5,000 in monthly alimony for three years.
The former married couple welcomed three children during their eight-year relationship. Per the divorce docs, Ne-Yo will be responsible for $12,000 in monthly child support for the trio, along with school expenses coverage.
Sade first shared photos of her most recent pregnancy on December 15 on her Instagram feed. At the time, she turned off the post’s comment section.
