NBA YoungBoy’s mother, Sherhonda Gaulden, definitely does not play about hers. Following YoungBoy’s most recent arrest in Los Angeles stemming from a federal warrant, Sherhonda has been very vocal about defending her son.
His arrest and short pursuit made it to Wendy Williams’ ‘Hot Topics’ segment and Wendy did not hold back.
“He’s got to go to jail,” Wendy Williams said. “How do you do a hot pursuit? There are innocent people out here. You could’ve hurt innocent people in your hot pursuit.”
Wendy didn’t fail to mention that he has fathered at least seven children by the age of 21.
Sherhonda got wind of the clip and was not having it.
She called out Wendy on her Instagram page, suggesting Wendy is a man. Sherhonda later revealed that her post was removed but simultaneously called for the removal of Wendy’s show.
“I’m sorry she not a man I lied she a woman I quit,” Sherhonda wrote in her caption.
She later went on to allege that Wendy’s rhetoric had racist undertones.
During Wendy’s segment, Wendy said NBA YoungBoy’s hot pursuit in the Tarzana neighborhood of Los Angeles where authorities say he was hiding to avoid being captured is unwanted and brings “down the property values.”
Sherhonda was upset with Wendy’s choice of words and cautioned people against laughing at Wendy’s comments.
“And FYI y’all laughing at Wendy Williams say my child bring property value down she’s not talking just about my child she’s talking about blacks in General because no matter rapper doctor (lawyer) if you’re colored that’s the term they use,” Sherhonda wrote in a message posted to her Instagram story.
Meanwhile, NBA YoungBoy is still being held in federal custody as he awaits to be seen by a federal judge in Louisiana. We’ll keep you posted.
