While the status of NBA YoungBoy and Yaya Mayweather’s relationship is unclear since she gave birth to their son, it does appear that he is present in Kentrell Jr.’s life.
Yaya’s mother and Floyd Mayweather’s ex, Melissia Rene, recently captured a photo of YoungBoy holding baby KJ in his bassinet.
In the black and white photo, it appears YoungBoy is either leaving or arriving at Sparks Steak House in New York City with his newborn son in his hand.
Melissia Rene captioned the photo “KJ WITH HIS DADA.”
Fans were happy to see NBA YoungBoy with his Kentrell Jr. and this is believed to be his first documented appearance with KJ although it’s unclear if YoungBoy has seen his son before this recent trip.
Fans weren’t sure if YoungBoy and Yaya were on good terms after it appeared he wasn’t present at her baby shower and it’s unclear whether he was at KJ’s birth, but parenting is one thing that NBA YoungBoy has expressed taking pride in, so it’s no surprise that he’d be spending time with his son.
Yaya welcomed their baby boy back in January. KJ is her first child and allegedly YoungBoy’s eighth.
YoungBoy has been publicly in a relationship with girlfriend Jazlyn Mychelle. The couple, who dated once before, has been rocking for a few months but the status of their relationship is also unclear after YoungBoy filmed himself recently with one of his other children’s mothers, Drea Symone.
Yaya seems to also still be sweet on YoungBoy after she shared in her Instagram story that she still wants to get married and even went hard for her son’s father in a recent video where she yelled at her friend to turn off a Lil Durk and Pooh Shiesty song. The rappers are allegedly beefing with YoungBoy.
NBA YoungBoy infamously referred to Yaya as “his wife” in a viral video he took just hours after she was released from jail on bond for allegedly stabbing another young woman over him last spring.
Yaya is due back in court in May in that case. We’ll keep you posted.
