Roomies, domestic violence is never acceptable no matter who you are, man or woman. You never truly know what’s going on behind closed doors, but today, Kristen Evangeline aka Kris Dreamz, the ex-girlfriend of former NBA player Darius Morris, took to Instagram to open up about domestic violence. She shared a graphic photo and video of alleged domestic abuse from Darius that took place last April.
In a series of Instagram posts, she detailed the alleged abuse. Although she deleted the graphic photo and video from her page, the footage still surfaced online, and many spoke out against Darius’ alleged actions. This prompted her to speak out some more. Kris wrote on her Instagram story, “I’m sorry I’m not looking at my DM’s or comments. TBH I feel sick and anxious. I’ve never talked about my personal life on social media before. I just don’t want to be a victim anymore. I just wanted to not feel like this, and he made every step harder and harder for me.”
In the heartbreaking deleted video, Kris can be heard screaming for help while Darius violently yells at her to give him her phone. While Kris continued to address the incident, she brought Darius’ mother into the conversation. She wrote, “And his mom said to me… ‘Why didn’t you just gave him your phone… It seems like you were hiding something.’ Wow, I mean, he searched through my phone every time I saw him… But just wow she really said that.”
Currently, Darius nor his mother have responded to Kris’ claims, but he remains active on social media as he recently posted a video of himself working out.
Roomies, we will keep y’all posted if he or his mother responds.
