As family members and friends continue to mourn following the unfortunate passing of Naya Rivera, her family members are forming a united front as they come together to raise her 5-year-old son Josey. New photos of Naya’s ex-husband Ryan Dorsey and her sister Nickayla Rivera, show the pair out together multiple times this past month.
Earlier this month, Nickayla was spotted helping Ryan load his belongings from his home in San Fernando Valley to a home 30 mins away. According to Daily Mail, the two allegedly rented a home that reportedly costs nearly $5,000 a month. The two were also spotted doing yard work as Josey played nearby.
Both Ryan and Nickayla were also spotted shopping in a local Target together. A witness told the site, “They seem really comfortable together and are obviously helping each other through a very difficult period in both their lives. They were fooling around and chatting the whole time. They’re obviously helping lift each other’s spirits.”
As previously reported, Naya unfortunately passed away at the age of 33. Her body was recovered from Lake Piru in Southern California back in July after she went missing while out on the water with her son Josey. Authorities say that her son was found alone on the boat when it was brought to their attention that Naya had been missing.
Ultimately it was ruled that she passed away after drowning in the body of water. Lake Piru is known for having strong currents and deep waters. There have been eight people that have drowned there since 1994.
