As fans gear up for the final episode of the Starz hit series “Power,” Naturi Naughton is already setting her sights on what’s next. She recently took to social media to tease some upcoming music with fellow R&B artist (and Mr. Unbothered himself) Omarion.
Although she left after the group’s first album, you may remember that before she was going toe-to-toe with Ghost every week on “Power,” Naturi Naughton was one-third of the girl group 3LW. So, it’s not surprising that she has decided to get back to her first love of singing once the series wraps for good.
In a post on Instagram, Naturi posted a photo of herself and Omarion with a caption that had fans going wild. She wrote:
“We STILL HERE! #2020 it’s on! Me + @omarion + @ehudsonmusic + ezra__xx = [fire] #NaturiMusic #Omarion #3LW #B2K#20yearsinthegame #theyaintready #blessed.”
Fans were excited at the news despite the fact that Naturi hasn’t released music in several years. However, her fans noted underneath the post that a collab with Omarion could be a great idea, since they are both from the same music era and both have well-known backgrounds being part of R&B groups. Some even speculated and hoped that the pairing of the two meant that Naturi was perhaps joining the second round of the upcoming Millennium Tour.
Meanwhile, “Power” fans are waiting on pins and needles to find out the season-long mystery of who shot Ghost—a question that will finally be answered when the show’s final episode airs on February 9th at 8PM on Starz.
Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?
