One of the biggest shows to air on television during the early 2000’s was the show, “My Super Sweet 16,” on MTV.
The show allowed viewers to go inside the party planning and the actual parties of some of the wealthiest teens throughout the country, and even a few well-known teen celebrities.
According to Complex, the show is now making a comeback, but with a twist.
The network announced via email that it will move away from just filming sweet sixteen parties and will focus on all coming of age parties. The email read, “Sweet Sixteen, Quinceañera, Debutante Ball, Debut, or any other coming of age milestone event.” Now the show will be known as, “My Super Sweet.”
They also added in the email, “If it’s going to be lit, we want to know about it!”
The show first aired in 2005 and went on to have a total of 61 episodes ending in 2008.
Some of the teen celebs that celebrated their birthdays on the MTV show included, Teyana Taylor, Chris Brown, Bow Wow, Sean Kingston and Soulja Boy.
Will you tune in to the shows revival?
