Some people just don’t deserve children! A Bronx woman tossed her new born baby girl out of a seventh-floor bathroom window Monday afternoon.
Jennifer Berry, the mother, alleges that she gave birth in her shower and that her daughter was stillborn.
The city’s medical examiner determined that was a lie. The infant was reportedly still breathing during her toss.
Her death is ruled a homicide.
“The cause of death is multiple blunt force injuries,” said NYC Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Barbara Sampson.
Things get even more fishy! When the cops asked Jennifer’s boyfriend, Giovanni Johnson, about her pregnancy he told them that he was under the impression that she had an abortion about four months ago.
He says when he came in the bathroom shortly after the toss, Jennifer was sitting next to a pool of blood. He says she claims it was from her menstrual cycle.
Her mother also offered a statement, “I suspected she was pregnant, but I didn’t know for sure,” she told The NY Post. “I’ve been waiting for her to say something to me.”
The wife of the building’s superintendent was taking out trash and found the the infants body.
How ironic is it that, according to her mother, Jennifer used to work for Child Protective Services.
