On Friday more than 90 people were hospitalized following a concert in Connecticut that featured Chance The Rapper.
According to CBS News, those who were hospitalized were attendees at Hot 93.7’s Hot Jam concert at the Xfinity Theatre in Hartford. A large number of the concertgoers were underage fans that experienced “severe intoxication.”
Hartford Deputy Chief Brian Foley said officers made 50 underage drinking referrals; most of the people charged were issued a summons to appear in court. There were reportedly some arrests made throughout the night.
There were a series of tweets posted online by Foley warning parents in the area that their children had been drinking. One tweet read, “Did you drop your teen off at the concert tonight. This is what it looks like. & HPD is enforcing underage drinking in the lots.”
The footage shows dozens of people in the parking lot of the venue tailgating.
