Roomies, this week Moneybagg Yo and Ari Fletcher caused a SPLASH on social media when they teased his new single ‘Bussin.’ Now, as of late Friday and early Saturday, the couple is trending for more than a few reasons, including Ari claiming she’s “single.”
Fans had been begging Ari Fletcher for weeks to take part in social media’s “ceiling challenge,” which involves taping a cellphone to the ceiling and dancing for the camera. But Ari had long dubbed the requests. That was until she and Moneybagg teased his new single with a “ceiling challenge” of her throwing that peach on him and around their home!
As expected, social media went WILD with reactions, with his Instagram post racking in over 78,000 comments and more than 1.6 million likes.
Then, on Friday (March 29), Bag dropped the music video to ‘Bussin.’ And guess who the star twerker was in the nearly three-minute video? Ariana Fletcher! Within 24 hours of its release, the risque YouTube video pulled in over 507,000 views. The reactions were all over the place, including questions about respectable behavior from a man and woman in a committed relationship.
So, sometime after 10 p.m. ET on Friday, Moneybagg Yo took to Instagram Story to defend his queen, Ari. He shared a behind-the-scenes set photo of them.
“@therealkylesister I Got Da Utmost respect for u, we be in our own world, not da one they live in! We just be enjoying & having fun wit da shit. Teamwork make dream work! So for anybody got some to say or against it STFU & keep running us up!!!”
A couple of hours later, out of nowhere, Ari took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce she was back on the market. She wrote, “I’m so f**king single.” After someone replied, “I thought everything was bussin,” she wrote, “F**k that song and that video.”
But it looks like Moneybagg Yo was far from pressed about Ari claiming she’s single. He responded to her “single” post with laughing emojis.
“[three laughing emojis] never,” he wrote.
