According to The Times, major brands and corporations are now looking for models with atleast 10,000 Instagram followers to be the face of their campaigns.
“For certain big money jobs, brands stipulate that girls must have at least 10,000 followers,” Paul Hodgson of Select Model Management reportedly told the Times. “Almost every brief we receive now asks how many followers they have.”
Models like Kendall Jenner, who is now the face of Estee Lauder as well as Cara Delevigne, and Jourdan Dunn, who have their followers in the millions are now taking the fashion world by storm, some say seemingly overnight. Now many modeling agencies are offering sessions to teach aspiring models how to popularity to on Instagram.
Model agencies are also looking on Instagram to find their next “IT” girl as more and more companies are posting their casting opportunities on the app.

Basically, they’re saying that’s why Krystal (what’s this girl’s name) was given the job. All of those other girls put in the work, but because she’s a KarWhore, she skates by. Hoe doesn’t even look like a model.
