The former manager of legendary hip-hop group Mobb Deep is suing for unpaid expenses.
According to TMZ, 50 Bucks Productions says they managed the rap duo from 2010 until Prodigy’s unexpected passing last year.
In the lawsuit, 50 Bucks says their team was responsible for booking recording, touring, and endorsement deals. They claim that they also paid advances to the group, in which they claim they were never reimbursed.
All of those expenses have totaled up to $500,000.
Last year, the hip-hop community was unexpectedly hit with the news of Prodigy’s passing. Weeks following his death, it was reported he had chocked on an egg while in the hospital while being treated for his sickle cell.
