The major baseball league has suffered a major loss, as two players were killed in two separate car accidents on Sunday.
According to CBS News, Yordano Ventura, the starting pitcher for the Kansas City Royals was in his native home of the Dominican Republic. Unfortunately he lost his life in a car accident he was only 25.
He joined the team back in 2013 and was a part of the team during their win at the 2015 World Series.
Andy Marte, a former player for KT Wiz in the Korean Baseball Association was also in the Dominican Republic, and lost his life in a separate car accident at the age of 33.
He also played for teams such as Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Indians and Arizona Diamondbacks.
No further information is available at this time.
