Brazilian hip-hop fans never had the chance to get their freak on to Missy Elliott back in November 2012 when two of her concerts were cancelled for bad promotion. The booking agent is now suing Missy for $75,000 plus interest! But it ain’t nothing for her to flip the cash and reverse it.
Apparently Missy skipped a scheduled national TV appearance on Brazil’s Rede Globo, according to the suit. She was supposed to promote two of her scheduled appearances in Rio and Porto Alegre while on the show.
Justin Faustin, who booked missy for the performances, says her no show completely ruined ticket sales, so he had no choice but to cancel both shows. He’s asking for the deposit fee back plus interest.
