Yesterday we reported on the cast of the Broadway musical, ‘Hamilton’ ending their Friday night performance with a special message for Vice President-Elect Mike Pence, who was sitting in the audience.
Donald Trump ran to Twitter to accuse the cast of harassing Pence, and demanded that they apologize.
Now Pence is speaking out about the matter himself.
According to the New York Daily News, on Sunday Pence talked to Fox News and said, “I can tell you, I wasn’t offended by what was said. I’ll leave to others whether that was the appropriate venue to say it.”
Unlike Donald Trump, Pence was not looking for any apologies and simply encouraged others to go see the hit show.
Pence attended the show with his children, and told them, “That’s what freedom sounds like.”
Although many are still not here for Trump and Pence to take over the White House, he reassured that everything will be all good.
He said, “I know that this is a very anxious time for some people. And I just want to reassure people that what President-elect Donald Trump said on Election Night, he absolutely meant from the bottom of his heart — he is preparing to be the President of all of the people of the United States of America.”
Roommates what are your thoughts?
