Unfortunately, we are all still stuck inside our homes as we wait for life to resume following the deadly and devastating coronavirus outbreak. One of the positive aspects of staying home is that it’s allowed us to explore some of our favorite hobbies—just ask Mike Epps, who recently showed off his roller skating skills with a social media skate party.
Mike Epps decided to dust off his roller skates, turn on some music and get his skate on for all of his Instagram followers. He skated around his spacious living room and played a variety of hip hop and R&B classics that had fans turning up right along with him from their homes.
Mike was likely skating to pass the time as he got ready to participate in a “Def Comedy Jam” coronavirus fundraiser hosted by Cedric The Entertainer. The special online event also featured fellow comics Chris Tucker, Adele Givens, Spice Adams, Corey Holcomb, D.L. Hughley and Luenell. It aired via livestream on April 5th.
Also participating were JB Smoove, Ashima Franklin, Michael Blackson, TK Kirkland, Bill Bellamy, Mike Epps, Chris Spencer, Gary Owen, Jess Hilarious, Tony Baker, David Arnold, Earthquake, Donnell Rawlings and Affion Crockett.
Organizers say 100% of the proceeds will go toward basic protective equipment for essential workers and individuals in inner-city communities in New York City — the epicenter of the coronavirus crisis in the U.S.
Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?
