The First Lady, Michelle Obama will soon make her acting debut in an upcoming episode of NCIS. However, her upcoming role in the scripted series really wouldn’t be considered acting, as she’ll be playing herself.
In the episode titled, “Homefront” the FLOTUS will be spreading awareness about “Joining Forces”, an initiative she co-founded with Dr. Jill Biden back in 2011.
Joining Forces calls for “All Americans to rally around service members, veterans, and their families and support them through wellness, education, and employment opportunities.”
The episode which airs on May 3rd at 8pm on CBS will be set inside of the White House where Michelle Obama welcomes Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the wife of a Marine to a Joining Forces roundtable. The extras used for the roundtable scene in this episode will be made up of actual military spouses.
