It is definitely the season of giving back and our Forever First Lady teamed up with Ellen DeGeneres for her “Ellen’s Greatest Night of Giveaways.”
On Wednesday, Michelle shared a video of her making a surprise visit to the Randle Highlands Elementary School in Washington, D.C. where she surprised the students and teachers. While speaking to everyone in the school’s auditorium, she mentioned how she noticed that the school didn’t have a basketball court. She then proceeded to announce that they would now have one as she showed them an image of their new basketball court.
However, there was more. Michelle continued with the surprises as she announced that the students and teachers would be gifted with all new computers. All of the students broke out into tears after hearing all of the exciting news.
Michelle said, “When I look out at all of you, I see the future doctors and teachers and engineers and presidents, and I want to make sure you have the tools you need right now.”
For the month of December, Ellen teamed up with a bunch of celebrities to give back to various people throughout the world, and the acts of kindness are definitely a tear-jerker.
