About three weeks after The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Eva Marcille filed for divorce, Michael Sterling has reportedly hired an attorney. But he’s still set on reconciling with his wife of five years.
On Tuesday morning, Radar Online broke the news that Michael Sterling had enlisted the services of divorce attorney Kristal Holmes, though no further information about the matter was provided.
Shortly after that, theJasmineBRAND reported that, per Holmes, Michael was still set on winning Eva back.
Specifically, the lawyer proclaimed that Michael is focused on “saving his marriage.” She also noted that, as Michael’s an “experienced lawyer,” he only enlisted Holmes’ services to fulfill his obligation of “respond[ing] to the divorce petition in a court of law.”
“Michael Sterling’s focus, attention and priority remains [on] his family and saving his marriage to his wife, Eva Sterling. As an experienced lawyer, however, Michael understands the legal requirement that he is obligated to respond to the divorce petition in a court of law.”
Kristal Holmes wrapped up by sharing, “Michael has retained me to manage his legal obligations with the Court while he focuses on his marriage and three children.”
While on the subject, we should add that Holmes’ statement echoes Sterling’s sentiments in late March.
After word of the divorce filing began to spread, Michael told theJasmineBRAND that he was determined to win Eva back by “fight[ing] for her with every fiber in [his] being.”
He added, “I plan to show her how much I love her and that our love is strong enough to get to the other side.”
“I am not going to lose my wife. I am going to fight for her with every fiber in my being. I love her and I plan to show her how much I love her and that our love is strong enough to get to the other side.”
We wish Eva Marcille and Michael Sterling the best of luck as their family continues to navigate these waters.
