Michael B. Jordan and rumors about his dating life have been swirling all over the internet—with recent headlines alleging he’s in a “secret” romance with an influencer overseas—but it’s apparently false.
The chatter around Jordan, 35, dating a popular model was first reported by The Sun earlier this week. However, The Shade Room can exclusively confirm that Jordan is not dating 26-year-old British bikini model Amber Jepson.
A reliable source close to the Creed III actor told us that this rumor is untrue as “the two have never met before.”
The 35-year-old actor appears to be more focused on other areas of his life, such as his thriving acting career. Jordan is gearing up for the release of Creed III on March 3. And the film will also mark his directorial debut.
As reported by Variety, Jordan explained his decision to step up to the director’s chair.
Directing has always been an aspiration, but the timing had to be right. ‘Creed III’ is that moment — a time in my life where I’ve grown more sure of who I am, holding agency in my own story, maturing personally, growing professionally and learning from the greats like Ryan Coogler, most recently Denzel Washington, and other top tier directors I respect. All of which sets the table for this moment.
Of course, Jordan will still be starring as the film’s lead character Adonis Creed.
Famed actor Denzel Washington even lent Jordan personal advice about acting and directing. According to Variety, Washington informed the 35-year-old to “prepare, prepare, prepare.”
Washington also shared an exclusive comment about Michael, and his directing debut, with the outlet.
It’s much harder than you think because he’s acting and directing. But [Michael’s] motivated and he’s very, very bright, so I’m sure he will do well.
Jordan took to Instagram on October 18, 2022, to share the first trailer ahead of Creed III. The actor also shared a short caption, explaining his excitement.
My directorial debut?! That still sounds crazy to say but there’s no film that has been more personal to me and no film I’ve felt more ready to steer. Excited to share the first trailer for Creed 3. To my cast & crew, thank you for working so hard to continue the legacy of the franchise…
According to Jordan, the film will also be the “first spots movie shot on IMAX cameras.”
Roommates, are you excited for the actor’s directorial debut?
