It will soon mark two months since the unfortunate passing of Young Dolph, and although authorities have suspects in custody when it comes to his murder case. That does not heal the pain that his loved ones and fans are still experiencing following his passing.
Recently Young Dolph’s life partner, and the mother of his children, Mia Jaye sat down for her first interview since his passing and expressed the grief she has been dealing with in his absence. In an interview with ABC News Live, Mia said, “It has taken a long time to iron out the kinks being with a celebrity. Someone that is very busy, that’s on the road a lot, and family can kind of take a back seat. But he finally made the sacrifice and was present, and we were doing things like planning our wedding.”
"It's been extremely difficult, just having to pick up the pieces and to find the strength for my children…That was my soulmate."

Mia also spoke about her campaign “Black Men Deserve To Grow Old,” which was started after her brother was killed. The campaign’s mission is to support families that have lost their fathers and husbands due to violence, and Mia shared that she has been able to find support from the community she initially created to help others.
“I had no idea that me putting this campaign together to help my brother’s family and the other families that have been affected by such violent crime. I didn’t know I was also preparing for my own journey,” she said. “I have received an outpour of support from fans to different celebrities, I mean just everyone.”
As previously reported, on Tuesday, authorities announced that there were two murder suspects in custody. The following day, they announced a third suspect was charged in the case for reportedly helping Justin Johnson [one of the suspects], who was on the run from authorities.
