Lamar Odom’s health scare caused a lot of commotion this weekend from the way he was found to rumors leaking that he was already dead, he was definitely the talk of the town. However, one main criticism seems to be constantly brought up is the kind of people that were around him during his time of need.
Master P was the first to sound off his feelings on people using Lamar’s hospitalization as a publicity booster when he came for Kobe Bryant in a recent TMZ interview but now Ball player, Metta World Peace has something to say about it also!
According to the LA Daily News, Metta isn’t here for the celebrity gathering Lamar has at his bedside. From the Kardashians, to Chris Paul and Blake Griffith, Metta feels that their appearances are taking away from what’s most important… His family.
“This is nothing against Khloe [Kardashian],” he told the Los Angeles Daily News last night. “This is for the celebrities that are coming to see Lamar. They should know they’re taking away from Lamar’s children.”
He also says he opted to go visit Lamar at the hospital after word came that he was doing much better but he decided against as way to allow his family to have their time with him. He says his brother, Daniel Artest, has been staying at a hotel near the hospital and gives him all the info he needs.
As he mentioned the Kardashians earlier, he did say he wasn’t opposed to his ex Khloe being by his side but he definitely feels that as for the other Kardashians they need to kick rocks!
“The only Kardashian that needs to be there is Khloe,” he said. “Not every Kardashian needs to be around. They need to keep it simple, so Lamar’s children can see him whenever they want to see him. They’re waiting in line to see their own father.”
Now that’s crazy!
Lamar has been staying at the Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center for the past few days and has shown so much improvement he has already started rehabilitation.
