Earlier this week news broke that NBC will be making some change to their morning lineup.
According to The Jasmine Brand, the network will reportedly pull the plug on their segment called “Today’s Take,” which his hosted by Tamron Hall and Al Roker. The segment takes place during the third hour of “Today.”
The segment is reportedly being cut in order to make room for Megyn Kelly, who is a political commentator and former corporate defense attorney. She previously worked at Fox News, but left the network at the start of January.
Al Roker will reportedly stay on “Today,” during their 7a.m. through 9a.m. slot time, and Tamron Hall will reportedly leave once her contract in fulfilled in February or March.
They recently celebrated the success of the show earlier this week, which was the number one morning show for seven weeks straight, Tamron Hall tweeted, “Thank you @alroker!! Yes we are blessed to have an awesome team!! #TODAYsTake congrats.”

There has yet to be an official statement from the network.
