Megan Thee Stallion brought the heat in the visuals for her latest single, “Cobra.” Visually, the official music video shows Meg shedding her skin while on paparazzi frontlines. But it’s her lyrics that have fans trolling her ex-boyfriend Pardi.
In the second verse of “Cobra,” Megan asks the “Lord” for a “break” after catching someone being unfaithful.
“Man, I miss my parents, way too anxious, always cancel my plans. Pulled up, caught him cheatin’, getting his d**k sucked in the same spot I’m sleepin’. Lord, give me a break, I don’t know how much more of this sh*t I can take.”
What We Know About Megan & Pardi In 2023
Megan and Pardi initially sparked break-up rumors early this year. In February, Pardi fueled the online talks when he shared a photo of himself wearing the viral MSCHF red boots. His caption said, “Damn…Looks like I got da boot.”
Megan hasn’t publicly acknowledged the relationship (or its end) in the past year. In May, photos of her conversing with soccer player Romelu Lukaku went viral. Guardian Nigeria placed Meg and Romelu in Italy at a wedding. Outlets also reported her POV at one of his alleged games and his presence at a Megan concert. She stayed hush-hush on that, too.

But in “Cobra,” in addition to her alleged Pardi accusation, Megan also deep-dived into her recent private experiences.

The Houston rapper admitted to feeling “very depressed” and alluded to self-harm and her violent encounter with Tory Lanez in verse one. By verse two, Megan rapped about having “problems” and never thinking she’d “hit rock bottom.”
The song marks a new era for Megan, especially following the end of legal disputes with her former label, 1501 Entertainment.
Meg revealed she was filming a music video for “Cobra” in late October. According to Teen Vogue, it marks her first release via Hot Girl Productions, a music and entertainment organization by the Houston Hottie.
Social Media Reacts To Meg’s Cheating Bar In “Cobra”
As for Pardi, he seemingly confirmed a romance with Jamaican rapper Jada Kingdom. Faceless social media posts from the Jamaican rapper turned into puzzle pieces for fans, who recognized Pardi’s tattoos in several posts. Jada hopped into The Shade Room’s comment section in September, telling folks to “move on.”
Hours before “Cobra” was released, Kingdom took to Instagram Story with a photo of a floral arrangement. The card was signed with an eight-ball and a heart.
Pardi, an avid fan of the 8-ball sign, started trending across social platforms shortly after the video’s midnight release. By Friday morning, Pardison Fontaine was the top trending topic in the U.S. on X (formerly Twitter).
