Megan Thee Stallion is sharing a strong message to all of her “haters” in her first performance following Tory Lanez’s sentencing. As The Shade Room previously reported, Lanez was sentenced to ten years in prison last week.
The rapper’s sentencing is connected to his alleged role in the 2020 assault of Megan Thee Stallion.
On Sunday, the 28-year-old took the stage at the Outside Lands Music Festival. According to the festival’s official website, the three-day event occurred at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California.
As the rapper took the stage, she was seen rocking a pink bodysuit over matching leggings. She also rocked matching pink boots and wore her red tresses in cascading waves.
During her performance set, the rapper performed many of her hit singles.
However, the 28-year-old also took some time to share a message to her “haters.”
“So today, I just want to say, f**k all my haters! None of that s**t you was doing or saying broke me! None of that s**t y’all be doing or saying to the Hotties broke them!…”
Before concluding her time at the festival, Megan stopped to take pictures with fans.
Megan Thee Stallion’s message to her “haters” arrives just a few days after Tory Lanez issued a public statement following his prison sentencing. As The Shade Room previously reported, Lanez shared his message via his official Instagram account on Thursday. The rapper was sentenced on Tuesday.
In his message, Lanez explained that he would not be defeated by a “hard time.” Additionally, he maintained that he is innocent in the assault of Megan Thee Stallion. However, he regrets the “intimate moments” they shared.
Before the rapper was sentenced to ten years in prison by Judge David Herriford, Megan Thee Stallion expressed via a letter that she would “never be the same” following her assault by Lanez, as reported by The Shade Room. Additionally, she stated that she hasn’t “experienced a single day of peace” following the alleged 2020 assault.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Lanez was found guilty of three charges concerning the alleged 2020 assault in December. The charges include “discharging a firearm with gross negligence, assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.”
Since being sentenced to ten years in prison last week, Lanez’s lawyer, Jose Baez, has vowed to appeal the ruling, as recently reported by The Shade Room.
