Roommates, Megan Thee Stallion is continuing her successful 2020 with an equally successful 2021—and her latest ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ magazine cover is just the start. Covering the March 2021 fashion issue, Megan opens up about her career and her upcoming college graduation from Texas Southern University.
Speaking about her rise to stardom and the consistent competition placed on female rappers, Megan The Stallion had this to say in her interview with the magazine: “I feel like when it’s all said and done, when people want to talk about female rap…they are definitely going to have to put my name up there with the OGs.”
She continued, adding:
“Even though I’m not working a traditional job, I still treat it like: ‘This is work. I need to work hard for this. I want to be here. I want to do this. I want to be Megan Thee Stallion.’”
Moving on to her graduation this spring, Megan elaborated on just how excited she is to finally reach the milestone:
“I cannot wait. I’m going to have the biggest graduation party. You fought through the procrastination. You fought through crazy professors. You made it home the next day from the party and still went to class. You know what I’m saying?”
In the meantime, as she finishes up her final four classes, Megan Thee Stallion continues to place her focus on her career, recently dropping the video for her popular song “Cry Baby” featuring fellow rapper DaBaby.
