Megan Thee Stallion has been having an amazing year when it comes to her music and things are only getting better.
On Monday, she celebrated her record “Savage,” hitting the Top 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart. The success of the record was not only her first time in the Top 5 but also in the Top 10 as well.
She took to Instagram and said, “I really want to cry right now like oh my god !!!! This is my first top 10 b*tch my first top 5 !!!! Likeeeeee hottiessss we really doing this sh*t! We ain’t never give up we doing everything they said we wouldn’t!!!! I said J White give me a beat I can go off on and he did ???? Thank you Beyoncé! I’m just happy to be here man ???? As you all know, Megan’s record “Savage,” first appeared on her latest project, “Suga,” which was released back in February. The song has reached a massive amount of success after going viral on the social media app Tik Tok. Millions of fans around the world created videos dancing to the record in what became known as the “Savage Challenge.”
Last week, Megan surprised fans with the official remix to the record, which features Beyoncé. As we previously mentioned, proceeds from the record go to Bread of Life Houston to support the city of Houston during this current pandemic.
In response, Sylvester Turner, the mayor of Houston announced that Megan and Beyoncé will have their own honorary days for their charitable efforts.
