Meek Mill has been out and about a lot lately, doing interviews left and right. Meek hasn’t spoken much about his ex lover Nicki Minaj since he was released from the pin–until now. The rapper sat down with the hosts of The Breakfast Club and spoke about some comments Nicki made about Judge Genece Brinkley.
“I wasn’t feeling that. [Nicki] shouldn’t have said nothing and we leave it at that,” Meek said. “I don’t feel no way… when it comes to freedom, I don’t care who it is—this could be Safaree, this could be anybody—if I know something, and that man’s freedom is on the line and I could say something to help the situation, I’m gonna say it. If I don’t say it, I just won’t say nothing.”
It’s clear Meek felt some type of way, but I mean, they were broken up so what did you expect from sis? How many exes do you know that would do that?
Nicki did an interview with Zane Lowe back in April, and didn’t want to shade Judge Brinkley saying, “The judge in question did everything I asked of her, so I can’t bad mouth her ’cause I met her personally and I know what she said to us and [Meek] knows that.”
During Meek’s case, his lawyer said that the Judge wanted him to remake Boyz II Men’s “On Bended Knee” and put her name in the song. Meek claims Nicki was there when the judge made that questionable request but says Nicki didn’t back him when it was brought up in court.
“What type of lie is that to make up? Who makes stuff up like?” Meek told The Breakfast Club. “It was actually somebody else there. They said they didn’t want to involve they self in it. But she know. She definitely was there.”
Meek says he doesn’t have any issues with Nicki, but it’s clear he’s still somewhat hurt.
