Meek Mill Purchases His Grandmother A New Home (Video)

Family first! When you’re a successful GRAMMY-nominated rapper, why wouldn’t you want to make sure your family is secure just like you? Many rappers have been showing out during this pandemic by taking care of their families by making large purchases like homes and luxury vehicles, and Meek Mill is one of them. The Philly native shared recently on Instagram how he surprised his paternal grandmother with a new home!

Today he shared a video of his grandmother’s reaction to her new home! In the video with over 457,000 views, Meek gives his grandmother a tour of her new home. The inside is beautiful and has gorgeous artwork plastered on the walls. With his grandmother being elderly, Meek was very intentional about making sure she could move around the house comfortably. The house has a wheelchair lift to ensure she gets up and down the stairs safely. During the interaction, Meek asked her grandmother if she liked the home and she was all smiling and filled with joy. He captioned the video, “I did this for my dad and my Grandmom.”

Several celebrities and fans left comments on Meek’s post, but the one that stood out was from the biggest boss Rick Ross, the CEO of ‘MMG,’ the label that Meek is signed to. Rick commented, “God is great!” Watching the video, you can tell the moment was very special for everyone involved, especially because of the 2018 incident where Meek’s grandmother’s home got vandalized. If you recall, he shared a tweet informing fans of the bad news. “A white man sprayed racial remarks on my Grandmom’s house last night in south Philly referencing white Privileged,” he wrote. “The crazy part is this was an all-Black neighborhood 20 years ago. It was gentrified, and now this! Just don’t let us catch you, coward! “

It’s good to see that he is holding his family down! Go head, Meek!
