Have y’all been wondering what #MeekMill has been up to all summer ’16? Well, he’s gearing up to release a new project, and he recently sat down with My Mixtapez to speak about his new music as well as the beef he had with #Drake after #BackToBack was released last year.
He started off by addressing the line “Is that a world tour our your girl’s tour” and explained how he thought it was foolish for anyone to expect him to stop grinding.
“I remember last year just watching everybody go against me about a diss record,” Meek said. “I used to look at it like ‘Yo you really think this is gonna stop me? You really think him telling me I’m going on my girlfriend’s tour is gonna stop me?’” Apparently it didn’t and Meek has been hard at work on #Dreamchasers4.
On this project, he aims to let everyone know that his spirit wasn’t weakened by a few bars and that he’s seeking to inspire people. “This mixtape right here is my re-introduction back for the people who doubted me but my inspiration was for the people who tried to bury me. At one point I was looking at the internet world looking like they were trying to bury me.”
