While the rest of us were enjoying Thanksgiving with our loved ones, Auntie Maxine Waters was plotting on the Republicans, trying to get another stimulus plan together for the people.
The California Congresswoman took to Twitter and wrote, “Home alone in Washington, husband in LA, spending the day plotting on the Republicans about how I’m going to kick butt to get another stimulus plan to put food on the table for so many families in need. Must pass HEROES Act. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!”
People on Twitter responded with thanks. One user wrote, “Thank you for being an important part of Thanksgiving.”
Another one stated, “Happy thanksgiving Auntie Maxine! We are thankful for all you have done to protect us!”
As you know there have been talks of a second stimulus check, but, unfortunately, no agreement has been reached, at this time.
We all know that Auntie is always reclaiming her time. So, we know that this holiday, though away from her husband, was well spent.
