Mathew Knowles Said His Daughter’s Concert United People Of Many Cultures
It’s safe to say that Knowles is proud of his daughter’s first performance in almost five years. However, not everyone was satisfied. And many criticized the RENAISSANCE singer for performing in a country with “anti-same-sex laws,” as reported by VIBE.
One tweet, explaining a fan’s disappointment in the singer’s choice, even went viral.
No beef but I’m struggling to understand why Beyoncé, who has half a billion dollars, would accept 20 million dollars to make her debut performance of the Renaissance album, a record which lifts heavily from queer culture, in Dubai, a country where LGBT rights aren’t recognised.

Despite the backlash, Knowles believes that his daughter “has incredible power to bring people together … from all walks of life,” as reported by TMZ. In addition, Knowles explained that his daughter was able to unite a “really diverse crowd” with her “incredible performance.” And ultimately, brought “people closer.”
The 71-year-old music executive added that those who weren’t in attendance at the concert, won’t be able to understand its impact. He said his daughter “gave respect” to the country, and received it back as well.
Ultimately, Knowles believes his daughter created an “amazing moment.” And would never do anything to intentionally hurt a group of people.
Knowles May Have Also Revealed Beyoncé’s Possible Next Step
According to the outlet, Knowles also acknowledged fans who were disappointed that they didn’t hear more records from RENAISSANCE. And revealed that Beyoncé is “planning a tour.” And the mother of three will “announce it when she’s ready.”
As The Shade Room previously reported, Beyoncé dazzled a crowd with her recent performance at the grand opening of Atlantis The Royal in Dubai. The performance was Queen Bey’s first in a few years. And she was even joined by her daughter Blue Ivy on stage. In addition, the singer was reportedly paid $24 million for her performance.
