If we know one thing for certain about Mathew Knowles. it’s that he’s going to go up for his daughter every single time! Despite the rocky history of their relationship, Mathew has always and will always stan for Beyoncé, and when a recent opportunity presented itself, he did not hold back.
In a recent interview with Leah A. Henry, conversation regarding Chloe X Halle, Beyonce’s artists, arose. Leah referenced previous comments about Chloe Bailey’s talent, where fans have compared her to a young Bey and Mathew said AHT, AHT! That ain’t it!
“Somebody is an idiot enough to compare her to Beyoncé talent wise?” Mathew questioned. “Are you telling me someone is an idiot enough to compare her to Beyoncé talent wise? Are there people saying her talent is equal to Beyoncé? They are idiots, period.”
He even went on to say that the comparison is insulting to Bey, despite her handpicking Chloe and Halle because of their unique vocals, dope sound, and creative production skills.
“That’s actually insulting to Beyoncé,” he continued. “If you want to call out some Barbara Streisand or some people like that, like come on man. Really?”
Many fans of Chloe have recently taken to Twitter to express that Chloe might be the closest thing we’ll get to another Queen Bey!
