New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram made headlines when he took to social media to share that he and three of his teammates were denied entry to a London nightclub because they were “too urban.”
According to ESPN, Ingram claims that London nightclub, Cirque le Soir in Soho stopped him, three of his teammates, and two others from entering their club, although they had reservations.
Ingram posted a photo of messages to his account and tweeted, “We pull up to @CirqueLeSoir where we have reservations and this is what they tell us!! He continued, “They told us they were “6 big guys” that are too “Urban” but nobody taller than 5’11!!”

The club is known for having big names such as, Lady Gaga, Leonardio DiCaprio, and Kanye West.
Nonetheless, Ingram mentioned the “too urban” incident was the only hiccup of their trip, and the people of England have shown much love. Not to mention he is definitely building a buzz around his new hashtag #TooUrban.
