Congratulations are in order for Marissa Da’Nae and NLE Choppa as the pair have welcomed their son. As The Shade Room previously reported, Da’Nae revealed she was expecting a child with the rapper in April.
Marissa Da’Nae and NLE Choppa took to their respective Instagram accounts on Wednesday to share the news of their baby boy’s arrival with the world. Da’Nae shared a carousel of photos that showed her holding the newborn in a hospital bed, her alongside the rapper, and a picture of the baby’s footprints.
In the post’s caption, she revealed the infant’s name and expressed gratitude.

In her Instagram Story, Da’Nae shared a few brief words about her labor.
“From trying for a home birth, to having to go to the hospital, to finally my water breaking, to me having to get an emergency c-section… I really can’t wait to tell you guys the story…”
Additionally, the mother also took to TikTok to share a view clips of her son.
Similarly, NLE Choppa also shared a carousel of photos celebrating his son’s birth. The rapper shared a video of him holding his son, followed by intimate hospital moments and a few of his comedic outbursts.
Additionally, the rapper also shared a brief caption with his son’s name and why he “had to be a comedian” throughout Da’Nae’s delivery.

Shortly after sharing news of his son’s birth, NLE Choppa returned to The Shade Room’s comment section to seemingly address those who criticized the infant’s name. Additionally, he shared the meaning behind his and Da’Nae’s choices for their son.

Furthermore, the rapper also shared additional posts on his Instagram Story.
As The Shade Room previously reported, NLE Choppa is also a father to a daughter from a previous relationship. Most recently, the rapper was criticized for being a “bad father” after social media users deemed that he failed to protect Da’Nae from criticism during her pregnancy.
The accusations arose after NLE was absent from Da’Nae’s baby shower for Chozen in July, as reported by The Shade Room.
However, at the time, Da’Nae assured viewers that she and NLE Choppa are “good.”
