#Roommates, just hours after Tristan Thompson’s DNA test results officially confirmed that he is the father of her newborn son, Maralee Nichols has spoken out. In an exclusive statement, Maralee Nichols made it clear that despite his recent confession, “there was never any doubt” that he was the father.
@PageSix exclusively reports, Maralee Nichols has openly addressed Tristan Thompson’s acknowledgement that he is indeed the father of her 1-month-old baby boy—and she has not forgotten all of the “false and defamatory statements” he made about her. “There was never any doubt that Tristan Thompson was the father. Tristan made numerous false and defamatory statements and declarations about Maralee over the past few months, and she is taking his contrite statement in the context of all of those statements,” Maralee said in a statement via her publicist.
As we previously reported, after months of fiercely denying that he fathered a child with her during a “hook-up” last March, Tristan Thompson finally admitted he was the father of Maralee Nichols’ newborn son after DNA test results confirmed it. Taking to Instagram, he not only acknowledged he fathered the child, but also apologized to on again/off again girlfriend Khloe Kardashian—with whom he also shares 3-year-old daughter True Thompson.
“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.
Khloe, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so sorry.”
As of now, Khloe Kardashian has not publicly responded to Tristan’s admission of fathering a third child or his apology to her.
