Congrats are in order to Malika Haqq. Back in September, she revealed that she was expecting her first child, and on Friday she took to social media to reveal the gender of her baby.
In an Instagram post where she is showing off her growing bump, Malika revealed to her followers that she is having a baby boy. This is Malika’s first child, and since announcing her pregnancy, she had been very open with her followers on social media.
Shortly after revealing that she was expecting, she posted a photo with her twin sister Khadijah, who is also a mother and said, “I’m counting steps, reading, praying, planning, looking like I ate too much… And she’s with me everyday because Khadijah LOVES it. But I love her so much more.”
Her little bundle of joy is expected to arrive in March, back in September she spoke with People about her exciting news and said it was all “a little bit surprising,” but she’s “overjoyed” to enter motherhood. She has been keeping the child’s father under wraps and said, “I’m leaving him out of this, just for now.”
She said his identity will be revealed later down the line and said, “My baby was made in love and that is something that will unfold at a later date.”
