They’re back, Roommates! The first teaser for the new season of VH1’s popular reality series “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” has officially dropped—and whew chile, the drama! The show is set to premiere in just a few weeks, so fans will get their peek at what’s been happening very soon.
It may be hard to believe, but “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” is about to premiere its ninth season—and there is still plenty of drama to be found. In the newly released 30-second teaser trailer we get a small glimpse of what’s to come featuring most of the same cast from the previous season.
Momma Dee, Scrappy, Bambi, Sierra, Spice, Rasheeda and Karlie Redd are all back for another season—and this time they have a new cast member that is very familiar with the “Love & Hip Hop” franchise…Alexis Skyy.
Alexis has left the west coast and “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” for Atlanta and it appears that she will be opening up regarding her history with being a victim of sex trafficking.
Meanwhile, Scrappy sits down for a heart-to-heart with Momma Dee to address her apparent issues with alcohol. Scrappy blatantly tells her, “you gotta let that drinking all the way go.”
Elsewhere, Sierra is in tears as she worries about going to jail (although we don’t know why) and Karlie Redd is heard saying that “he had a prostitute in our bed”—which is perhaps referring to the reason behind the recent end of her engagement last year.
The clip ends with someone being mushed in the face…and to keep you guessing, their identity isn’t revealed. “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” returns on March 16th at 8PM on VH1.
