It looks like Lori Loughlin aka Aunt Becky is finally serving her time for her role in the college admissions scandal.
According to NBC News, on Friday she surrendered to authorities at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California. However, she decided to surrender early. She was originally ordered to turn herself in on November 19th. She will be on lockdown at the same facility Felicity Huffman took her 11-day vacation at last year for her role in the scandal.
At this time the prison is not allowing visitors due to the current ongoing pandemic. However, outside of her prison sentence, Lori was also ordered to pay a fine of $150,000 and complete 100 hours of community service.
It is being reported that Lori is expected to serve her full two-month sentence.
Her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, was also charged for his role in the scandal, and he was sentenced to five months in prison 250 hours of community service, and a fine of $250,000.
As previously reported, Mossimo spoke out briefly after being sentenced, and said, “I take full responsibility for my conduct. I am ready to accept the consequences and move forward, with the lessons I’ve learned from this experience.”
Lori and Mossimo have been highly criticized for receiving the bare minimum when it comes to sentencing, while others have suffered way more for doing less.
Last month, LeBron James responded to the headline that Lori had the chance to choose the facility she would be serving her time and said, “Of her what!!??? I’m laughing cause sometimes you have to just stop from crying! Don’t make no d-n sense to me. We want the same treatment[,] if committed of the same crime that’s all. Is that asking for too much??? Let me guess, it is huh[?}Yeah I know!! We’ll just keep pushing forward and not expecting the handouts! STRONG, BLACK, & POWERFUL.”
